"Galaxy Maintenance", "we", "our", or "us" refers to Galaxy Maintenance LLC. The term "you", "your", "the client", or "user" refers to the user of our services or the viewer of our website.
1. General
The use of this website is subject to but not limited to the following terms of use:
- The content of the pages of this website is for the explanation and implementation of our services. It is subject to change without notice.
- We use cookies to monitor browsing preferences. If you allow cookies to be used, the relevant personal information may be stored by us for use in fields we determine.
- Galaxy Maintenance reserves the right to change, amend, cancel, or make exceptions to the terms and conditions listed here. Please check this page from time to time. By using our services, you acknowledge that you agree with our terms and conditions.
- No partnership, joint venture, or agency is created as a result of these Terms and Conditions, and you do not have any authority to bind Galaxy Maintenance in any respect.
- Galaxy Maintenance will not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any reason beyond Galaxy Maintenance's reasonable control, including electronic, mechanical or communications failure or degradation.
- All materials on the website are owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, layout, design, look, appearance, graphics, and copy. Reproduction is strictly prohibited other than in accordance with copyright notices, which form part of these terms.
- You consent that you will not make unauthorised use of the materials and information on the website.
- We may include links to other websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the accuracy or content of external links.
2. Our services
Galaxy Maintenance is a UAE-licensed home and commercial maintenance service provider. The services we offer include, but are not limited to:
- AC cleaning & maintenance & servicing
- Interior decor & furnishing
- Painting (interior and exterior)
- Structural changes & renovations
- Plumbing
- Electrical work
- Carpentry & handyman services
- Deep cleaning & sanitisation
- Tile & marble work
- Annual maintenance plans
Galaxy Maintenance does not provide pest control services.
All services are performed by certified Galaxy technicians or by vetted third-party service providers contracted by Galaxy who are licensed by the relevant UAE authorities.
3. Bookings & fees
When you book through Galaxy Maintenance, we facilitate the service for your home or property. Once the service is delivered, the fees you pay to our service professionals or third-party providers are non-refundable, unless there is a company-caused violation.
- AC Cleaning & Maintenance is offered at a fixed starting price of AED 75 per unit. Volume discounts may apply.
- All other services are quoted in writing after an on-site inspection. Quotes are valid for 30 days.
- All prices are in AED and inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- You are liable for any and all taxes (except taxes based on our income).
- Galaxy Maintenance may update the pricing scheme on a going-forward basis. Changes that increase rates will be posted ten days in advance; no advance notice is required for temporary promotions or rate reductions.
- Credit packages, if offered, are not valid on annual maintenance subscriptions unless explicitly stated.
4. Method of payment, card types & currency
We accept payments using cash, bank transfer, and Visa / MasterCard credit or debit cards in AED (or any other currency agreed upon in writing).
- By using your account as a payment instrument with Galaxy Maintenance, you consent to our Terms of Use.
- Online payments are processed by our third-party PCI-DSS-certified payment processors, where your credit/debit card information may be stored for future bookings. Galaxy Maintenance does not store your full credit card or payment information.
- Stored payment information may be used for future transactions including recurring appointments, outstanding payments, tips, or any other amounts due to Galaxy Maintenance.
- If you pay any charges with your credit card, we may seek pre-authorisation of your credit card account prior to the service.
- If you choose to pay by credit card, you, as the cardholder, must retain a copy of transaction records and our policies and rules.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of all information in your account.
5. Cancellation
- If you wish to cancel a booking, you must give a minimum of 4 hours' notice. Notification must be in writing — by WhatsApp on +971 50 998 2433, or by phone with written confirmation.
- Cancellations within 4 hours of the appointment may be subject to a charge of up to AED 100 to cover administrative and call-out expenses.
- We reserve the right to reschedule with notice in the event of staff illness, severe weather, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
6. Liability & property
- Galaxy Maintenance checks the backgrounds of its service professionals and third-party service providers directly and via third-party background-check services. However, every user should exercise common sense and caution to protect their personal safety and property.
- Users agree to hold Galaxy Maintenance free from liability for any damages or missing items during or after the use of service professionals booked through Galaxy Maintenance, except where such damage results directly from gross negligence by Galaxy.
- Galaxy Maintenance has the right to apply penalties to its service-provider partners in cases of damage to homes or interiors in order to protect the community.
- What happens to the client's belongings and home interior during the home-service session is the client's responsibility. Galaxy Maintenance is not responsible for houses and interiors during the process of entering or leaving the property.
- Galaxy Maintenance carries appropriate public liability insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, our liability for any loss arising out of our services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.
- Galaxy Maintenance will not be liable for any unlawful acts of service professionals, third-party service providers, or users.
7. Refund & return policy
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed only through the original mode of payment.
- Galaxy Maintenance provides a 30-day workmanship guarantee on all services. If the same issue we treated reoccurs within 30 days under normal use, we will return and rectify it free of charge.
- The workmanship guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accident, third-party work, pre-existing defects we did not diagnose, or materials supplied by the customer.
8. Quality assurance program
We conduct random quality inspections on a regular basis to review the quality of our team's work while on duty. We use three methods to maintain quality:
- Unannounced visit — to ensure service professionals are properly uniformed and performing their duties thoroughly.
- On-site inspection — a walkthrough with the service professional and/or the client during business hours.
- Follow-up — a brief WhatsApp message or phone call by our customer service agents after your session has been completed.
9. Reporting issues
You can report the following issues within the timeframes below:
- Missing or stolen items — within 48 hours of service completion.
- Damaged items — within 24 hours of service completion.
- Workmanship issues — within 30 days, covered under our workmanship guarantee.
Reports may be submitted via WhatsApp on +971 50 998 2433 or by phone. We will investigate and respond as quickly as possible.
10. Communications
Galaxy Maintenance will send messages via WhatsApp, SMS, email, phone, or push notifications as means of communication for purposes including but not limited to: appointment confirmation, appointment updates, follow-up after service, and marketing (where you have opted in).
11. Minors
Customers using the website who are minors / under the age of 18 shall not register as a user and shall not transact on or use the website without the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
12. Governing law & jurisdiction
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the local laws of Dubai. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be referred to the competent courts of Dubai, UAE.
Severability & assignment
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest of the Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect. Galaxy Maintenance may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and Conditions and its rights and obligations without consent.
Sanctions
Galaxy Maintenance will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC-sanctioned countries.
